State Representative Annie Mobley represents District 5 Bertie, Gates, Hertford and Pasquotank counties. She has served five terms and is involved with ten committees and has sponsored 246 bills. She is Vice Chairman of the Appropriations Subcommittee on Justice and Public Safety. 

Prior to her election to serve in the North Carolina General Assembly House of Representatives, she volunteered most of her time establishing the R. L. Vann Community Resource Center in Ahoskie, NC. She has received numerous awards and recognitions including the Order of Long Leaf Pine, Governor’s Award. She is the Charter President of Ahoskie Alumnae Chapter of the Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated. Representative Mobley graduated from Elizabeth City State University with a B.S. degree.
