State Senator Earline Parmon has just completed her first term in the Senate, representing District 32 Forsyth County. She is the first Black state senator from Forsyth County. She is involved with five committees, including Appropriations on Education/Higher Education, Appropriations/Base Budget Education/Higher Education Health Care and Judiciary I. 

She served ten years in the House as District 72 representative. 
She has been the primary sponsor of 403 bills. 
She is a graduate of Winston-Salem State University.
