Nicholas M. Perkins is Chairman, President and CEO of Perkins Management Services Company. The 10 year old company provides food services and custodial management to the federal government, historically black colleges and universities, and commercial clients. The company employs more than 550 people and serves more than 19,000 meals a day.’ A visionary entrepreneur and philanthropist, Mr. Perkins donated $1 million to his alma mater, Fayetteville State University, and intends to develop Perkins Management Services Co. into the first billion-dollar, African-American-owned contract food management company.

 In honor of the late A.D. Gaston, Perkins Management endowed a 12-year, $1million scholarship at Benedict College. The company also endowed a 10-year, $250,000 scholarship in Gaston’s memory for the creation of an entrepreneurship program at Livingstone’s School of Business. Mr. Perkins graduated with a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Fayetteville State University and earned a Master of Business Administration from Howard University.
