State Representative Marcus Brandon has represented District 60 Guilford County for two terms. He serves on eleven committees and has sponsored 205 bills. He is a political consultant who has been named one of “12 State Legislators to Watch in 2014” by Governing.com He has received awards from Democrats for Education Reform, Parents for Educational Freedom, Black Alliance for Education, and the State Employees Association of North Carolina. Representative Brandon is an alumnus of North Carolina A&T State University.
