The Honorable Milton “Toby” Fitch is the Senior Resident Superior Court Judge for the 7BC Judicial District of the First Division of the Superior Court, serving both Wilson and Edgecombe counties in NC. He was appointed in 2001, and re-elected in 2010 to an eight year term which expires in 2018.

 For nineteen years he served in the NC House of Representatives where he became the first African American to serve as Majority Leader, Minority Whip, and the first to preside over the N.C. House of Representatives. His legislative work included service as Vice Chairman of the Judiciary Committee. In 2003 he was elected Grand Master of the NC Prince Hall Masons which has more than 300 lodges across the state. He earned his undergraduate and law degree from North Carolina Central University
